KEIM LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY

KEIM Mineral Coatings of America, Inc. (“KMC”) warrants interior and exterior coatings purchased at https://keim-usa.com/ (the “Product”) to be free from defects in workmanship. If the Product, when applied according to paint specifications and label instructions, peels, blisters, or substantially fades from exposure to sunlight within 20 years from the date of purchase, KMC shall, at its own discretion, replace the defective Product free of charge. Such replacement is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction and presentation of proof of purchase of the Product to KMC.

This Limited Warranty does not apply to any defect or damage that is caused by (1) negligence, accident, abuse, or misuse of the Product; (2) improper surface preparation or any defects or shortcoming of the substrate, to which the Product is applied; (3) poor or improper storage, transportation, application, use, care or maintenance of the Product; (4) normal wear and tear or unauthorized use of the Product; (5) unauthorized application of, or modification to, the Product; and (6) unsatisfactory color due to a personal preference. This Limited Warranty may not be transferred or assigned. This is your sole remedy under this Warranty.

KMC’S ENTIRE LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PROVIDING REPLACEMENT PRODUCT. THIS WARRANTY EXCLUDES (1) LABOR AND COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH LABOR FOR THE APPLICATION OR REMOVAL OF ANY PRODUCT AND (2) ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Place Orders

Orders can be placed with our office in Charlotte NC by emailing your order information to orders@keim.com.

NO RETURNS FOR MIXED PAINTS/ COATINGS or OTHER COLORED AND SPECIAL ORDER PRODUCTS
We want you to be completely satisfied with your KEIM Mineral Coatings of America, Inc. products. However, please note that all sales are final for tinted, custom-mixed products, or opened products; once your order is placed, no adjustments can be made to quantities or colors. Unopened packages of untinted white and clear products may be returned for a 25% restocking fee and shipped freight prepaid to Keim. To receive a return authorization, email us at orders@keim.com and include your original order number and the number of items you seek to return. While our employees can provide estimated consumption quantities, these are general guidelines and don’t account for specific project details like surface complexity or application methods. It’s your responsibility as the buyer to calculate precise product consumption, and we highly recommend performing a trial application or observing the first day’s use to ensure you order the correct amount. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

RETURNS FOR OTHER PRODUCTS (not mixed or colored)

1. Products must be in like new condition.
2. Only products that have been stored in climate-controlled conditions may be considered for return. No refunds will be made unless prior return authorization is obtained (Contact your KEIM Product Specialist for authorization).
3. No returns will be accepted unless the return is made within 90 days of the invoice date.
4. Returns and refunds will be made on off the shelf items only after the Product specialist who handles the project or area has approved the return.
5. There is a 25% restock fee for all returned products.
6. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs including the return shipping.

RETURNS WHEN IT IS A KEIM ERROR (See Claims Below)

1. KEIM will accept all returns resulting from our error whether or not it was a mixed product or other product.
2. KEIM will arrange and pay for the return shipping.
3. Contact KEIM upon receipt of your order to report any error.

Claims: (Contact your Keim product specialist for authorization)

Errors in packaging or orders must be reported upon receipt of product in order to correct the error properly. Errors reported after more than 10 days from the date of receipt will not be considered.
